Latvian Water and Wastewater Works Association unites 38 water utilities that provide water supply, wastewater collection and treatment services in most of the municipalities in Latvia and 12 organisations that provide various equipment or design and construction services in terms of water sector. The aims of the organisation are to increase the overall knowledge in the sector, raise the public awareness on services provided by water utilities, improvement of the legislative framework regulating the sector and defence of the member needs and rights. Currently the Association is taking part in national and international scale projects related to improvement of all aspects of water sectors.
